Family Day at the Will Rogers Birthplace Ranch on June 1

OOLOGAH, Okla. — Visit the Will Rogers Birthplace Ranch on June 1 from 1 to 3 p.m. for Family Day at the Ranch. Participants will learn the basics of carpentry as the first 20 build a birdhouse together. Visitors also can enjoy a scenic stroll through the expansive property, with beautiful views of Oologah Lake, a longhorn herd and many shade trees—perfect for picnicking. Family Day at the Ranch is free to attend, and donations are appreciated. Please call 918-341-0719 for more information.

The Will Rogers Birthplace Ranch is located at 9501 E. 380 Road in Oologah.

The Will Rogers Memorial Museum and the Will Rogers Birthplace Ranch are divisions of the Oklahoma Historical Society. The mission of the Oklahoma Historical Society is to collect, preserve and share the history and culture of the state of Oklahoma and its people.
