Teresa Black Bradway, an Oklahoma Historical Society member since the 1980s, is in her second term on the board of directors. As a cast member of the Pawnee Bill Wild West Show, she sings traditional songs, wears 1800s-style dress, and plays the banjo and guitar at state historic sites. She is a descendant of 1889ers who grew up and worked in Oklahoma City. She has also written original songs pertaining to events about Oklahoma history.

Bradway and her husband Ed live in Clayton, in the Kiamichi Mountains of Southeast Oklahoma. She majored in political science at the University of Oklahoma, where she earned a degree in law. She is a retired assistant US attorney and has written news stories for local newspapers. She currently serves on the Oklahoma Historical Society’s Publications, Museums and Sites, and Nominating Committees.
