Fort Towson Historic Site will be the setting for “A Long Walk in the Sun: Mexican-American War Days,” a Mexican-American War encampment September 27–28, 2019.

Camps featuring US dragoons, artillery, cavalry, and infantry. Living history demonstrations and drills will be held each day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
