Oklahoma Archives Bazaar
October 26, 2019, 12 p.m.–4 p.m.
The Oklahoma Archives Bazaar will be Saturday, October 26, from noon to 4 p.m. Hosted by the Oklahoma Archivists Association, this event will be held at the Ronald J. Norick Downtown Library in Oklahoma City. Admission to the Oklahoma Archives Bazaar is free. The Oklahoma Historical Society is a cosponsor of this event.
The Oklahoma Archives Bazaar features booths from archives, libraries, and museums from across the state sharing collections, expertise, and services in one big room! The event is designed to raise awareness about the wonderful resources available to educators, students, genealogists, and history buffs.
Our goals are:
- Help individuals navigate “where the stuff is” based on their interests or research direction
- Raise awareness and deepen engagement with diverse cultural resources that are freely available to the public
- Provide education on caring for personal treasured historical material
- Provide archive-themed activities and programming for a broad audience
