SUMMARY:Beethoven Sonatas Concert with Dr. Hyunsoon Whang
DESCRIPTION:Dr. Hyunsoon Whang will present the tenth performance in a series of concerts showcasing Beethoven’s sonatas at the Museum of the Western Prairie on Sunday\, March 23\, starting at 2:30 p.m. \nBorn in Seoul\, South Korea\, Whang began piano studies at age four and started playing public concerts at age 12. Since then\, she has given solo recitals worldwide\, participated in festivals and master classes\, and helped inspire new generations of students. Whang is the McMahon Endowed Chair of Music at Cameron University. \nThis concert offers an opportunity to experience the serious yet very enjoyable art of classical music in the company of friends and family. The event is free and open to the public. Please feel free to reserve your seats by calling the museum at 580-482-1044. \n  \n
