“Preserving Your Family Heirlooms” workshop

Join the Oklahoma Historical Society staff for a workshop on preserving your own family collections on Saturday, November 2, from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The workshop will cover the tools and supplies available for preserving your treasures for future generations. Our knowledgeable staff will share best practices for preserving photos, books, documents, textiles, newspapers, and more. Participants will also learn about digitizing items and how to convert audio and video to different formats. Don’t miss this chance to learn how to care for your precious family mementos.

Registration is $30 for OHS members and $40 for nonmembers. We ask that you register in advance by calling the Research Center at 405-522-5225. This program will be held in the Clark and Kay Musser Learning Lab, which is located inside the Research Center on the first floor of the Oklahoma History Center.
