DESCRIPTION:On Friday\, September 26\, at 6 p.m.\, the Oklahoma Territorial Museum and Carnegie Library will host a book signing with travel writer Matt Kirouac. His most recent publication\, Secret Oklahoma: A Guide to the Weird\, Wonderful\, and Obscure focuses on Oklahoma’s lesser-known features. \nMatt Kirouac is an Oklahoma City transplant after two and a half years of RV living. He is an award-winning travel\, culture\, and food writer\, with bylines in Travel + Leisure\, Condé Nast Traveler\, National Geographic\, AFAR\, Thrillist\, InsideHook\, Midwest Living\, and other publications. Kirouac also serves as the senior dining writer at 405 Magazine\, and in 2023\, was given a Hometown Hero award by Visit OKC. He is the author of Unique Eats & Eateries of Chicago and Secret Oklahoma\, both published by Reedy Press\, and currently serves as communications chair for Oklahoma’s largest\, Oscar-qualifying film festival\, deadCenter Film. \nBooks will be available for purchase at this free event. \n
