SHPO workshops, Oklahoma History Center

The State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) will host four workshops at the Oklahoma History Center. Each workshop is devoted to one of the SHPO’s federal preservation programs and is designed for preservation professionals, government agency representatives, and concerned citizens. The sessions will be held Wednesday, December 7, through Friday, December 9. All workshops are free and open to the public, but the SHPO requests that participants register by Wednesday, November 30, at 5 pm. Space is limited for all sessions and will be reserved on a first-come basis.

  • Wednesday, December 7, 10:30 am-12:30 pm – Federal and State Tax Incentives for Rehabilitating Historic Buildings
  • Wednesday, December 7, 1:30-4:30 pm – The Secretary’s Standards and Guidelines for Rehabilitating Historic Buildings
  • Thursday, December 8, 10:30 am-4:30 pm – The Section 106 Review Process: A Workshop for Agency Officials and Cultural Resource Management Consultants
  • Friday, December 9, 10:30 am-4:30 pm – Working with the National Register of Historic Places

All sessions will be held in the classroom at the Oklahoma History Center, located at 800 Nazih Zuhdi Drive in Oklahoma City.
