DESCRIPTION:\nJoin the Claremore community as it celebrates Will Rogers’s 146th birthday at the Will Rogers Memorial Museum (WRMM).  \n\n\nImmediately following the Will Rogers Day parade\, at 4 p.m.\, the WRMM will host a birthday party for Oklahoma’s Favorite Son on the museum’s grounds. \nAt 4:30 p.m.\, Bart Taylor\, Will Rogers interpreter\, will read from his new book\, Will Rogers and His Great Inspiration\, the third installment in the series. Be the first to hear the new book\, and see illustrations on the big screen in the Will Rogers Theatre! \nThe third of Taylor’s books\, featuring custom illustrations by Greg White\, explores the real-life people who inspired Will Rogers to become a legend. The title caught the attention of country music star Reba McEntire and actor Rex Linn\, who wrote the foreword to the book. McEntire\, a fellow Oklahoman\, has personal ties to the Rogers family through Will’s great nephew Clem McSpadden\, who gave the country music star her first big break. \nWill Rogers and His Great Inspiration goes on sale on November 4 on Amazon and willrogers.com. Early copies of the book will be on sale on Saturday\, November 1\, during the birthday party festivities. Proceeds from the book will benefit the Will Rogers Memorial Museum. \nThe party will include cake\, inflatables\, and family fun. No admission is required! \n  \n\n
