Join the Oklahoma History Center Museum on Monday, July 21, at 10:30 a.m. for the OkieTales final story time of the summer. We will be reading Juana Martinez-Neal\u2019s award-winning story Alma: And How She Got Her Name<\/em> (2019). The title explores the multicultural history of Oklahoma, the importance of family heritage, names, and exactly what it means to be you, no matter how many names you might have.<\/p>\n

OkieTales<\/strong> story time and activities are geared toward elementary students, preschoolers, and their families. The books and activities will be largely Oklahoma-themed and connected to the state\u2019s history. Families do not need to register ahead of time. It\u2019s a free come-and-go program with paid admission to the museum. OHS members can get in for free.<\/p>\n

The Oklahoma History Center Museum is located at 800 Nazih Zuhdi Dr. in Oklahoma City. It is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Please call 405-522-0765 or visit okhistory.org\/historycenter<\/a> for admission costs and group
