Phillip L. Driskill

Phillip L. Driskill, Executive Director of the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs (Sergeant, US Army), enlisted into the US Army in 1966. He was awarded the Army Commendation Medal with V for heroic action during the first day of the Tet Offensive, January 31, 1968.

In 1971 he began work as a Veterans Service Officer for the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs and became its Executive Director in 2001. He retired August 1, 2008.
