“Clever and entertaining”—Kirkus Reviews

Jay Cronley

(1948–2017)

Humorist and best-selling novelist Jay Cronley has found a far-reaching forum through his column at the Tulsa World. His recent article, “Extended Warranties Needed on People” (5/8/2012), reminds us that laughter often resonates with deeper meaning.

Jay’s novels reflect the same quirky sense of humor, and several of his comic crime capers have become successful motion pictures including, Funny Farm, Quick Change, and Let It Ride (based on Good Vibes, 1979). Let It Ride, about horse racing, reflects Jay’s real-life enthusiasm for the sport, which he frequently covers for ESPN.
