In Memory of Gordon and Lucille Cooper

Charles Gordon Cooper (1912–1966), born in Roff to Charles C. Cooper and Donnie C. Heathman, loved baseball. He founded Liberty Plan Co. in OKC and served in the Army in World War II and Korea.

Lucille Frances Langdon (1914–2008), born in Oklahoma City to William H. Langdon and Pearl Nye, volunteered for and then worked as staff for many community organizations. She was a secretary for the Okla. House of Rep., comptroller for the Lt. Gov. and first Office Manager of Oklahoma Wheat Commission. Known as Mamacita to her grandsons and great-grandchildren.
They married in Norman in 1933 and had one child—Carolyne Christopher Cooper.
