Walter Edward Williams

Submitted by Diane Williams Gantt

Walter grew up in Anadarko, Oklahoma, marrying his grade-school sweetheart, Patricia Irene Tonkinson. Self-educated in the areas of highway and bridge engineering, he once discovered mastodon fossils during the building of I-40. His vocation then turned to nursing home administration and he is now a self-employed businessman who's most recent ventures include chemical consulting and operating a landscaping/nursery business with his wife. His rumbling bass voice has been heard in many community productions and church choirs. Frequent involvement in local public planning has also been an interest. He is the father of two daughters, Debbie W. Riddle and Diane W. Gantt.
