A.A. and Mary Lue Sewell

Mary Lue Julian Sewell, b: 5-22-1916 in Fox, OK. d: 3-29-1987 in Paris, Texas. Buried in Hugo, Oklahoma.
She was a homemaker and renowned baker of cakes, brownies and made hearty meals. No one ever left her home hungry.

He was active in the local Home Extension group and in the First United Methodist Church of Hugo.

Married A. A. Sewell (she called him "Pappy") on May 22, 1937 in Stroud, OK.

They had three children: James Franklin "Bud" Sewell, Michael Julian Sewell, and M. Luann Sewell Waters. Three grandchildren: Stephen L. Sewell, Julie Sewell Heitman and Nicholas A. Waters. A memorial scholarship for wildlife degree majors at OSU has been awarded in her and A.A.'s names since 1987.
