My grandparents moved to Tecumseh in about 1912 after several years of moving between Canadian, Texas, and Tecumseh. My father, Clarence D. Van Ness, and his sisters, Lela Van Ness La Reau Skinner and Georgia Van Ness Enlow, all graduated from Tecumseh High School.
