Prestridge Family 1898 Roger Mills County

In 1897 my great grandparents, Larkin and Manerva Walters Prestridge, with sons, Larkin and George Taylor, and the latters family left Texas for Kiowa County. George and Sarrah Moore Prestridge were my grandparents. They brought with them 75 head of livestock, settling first near relatives in Kiowa County, then moving on to Roger Mills County, arriving Thanksgiving Day, 1898. Joining Larkin and Manerva later were son, Andrew C. Prestridge, and daughter, Sarah Prestridge West, and their famlies. This brick honors them all.
