In Vosges Mt. sector, Belfort and Mughouse fall to French units; Snapshooting Course For Jungle Fighters- Jungle fighting tests for infantrymen are held on a specially designed snapshooting course in the Pacific theatre; Italian Front- Italian sector is bogged down with mud. At Quinzano, strange explosion wrecks a 155 rifle; Russian Films on Capture of Praga- Praga, on the east bank of the Vistula across from the Polish capital of Warsaw, is taken in hard fighting by units of the First White Russian Army under Marshal Rokossovsky, victor of Stalingrad; B-29's Attack Tokyo- Three months after the securing of Saipan, Superforts of the new 21st Bomber Command arrive to prepare for strikes at Tokyo and other key Jap points. On 24th November, Tokyo is seen below as bomb hits are scored for the first time since the Doolittle raid in April, 1942. Carrier Planes Attack Manila- Third Fleet carrier planes conduct a large-scale strike against Jap air and naval targets at the Philippine capital of Manila.

Additional Film on Iwo Jima- Tanks come in range of Jap 77mm guns, Marines dig out hidden and camouflaged installations, flame throwing tanks are used to burn Japs out of natural caves and hills and destroying enemy troops in underground pockets, Battle of Iwo lasts 30 days. Invade Panay Island in Philipines- Attack southeast portion of island, little enemy opposition encountered, civilian Phillipinos welcome invasion at ilo ilo, troops push inward and opposition fails to develop as troops move ahead and advance, tanks clear out machine gun opposition. Aerial Resupply on Leyte- Hospital supply and personnel dropped from planes into jungle and air carriers continue to bring in supplies and remove wounded. 70 patients a day cared for at this jungle station with many wounded requiring immediate care. B-32 Dominator- New and powerful companion of B-29 but slightly smaller aircraft that can travel over 350 miles per hour and carries a maximum load of 20,000 lbs. War Dogs- help police carry out there surveillance and security duties. Each dog assigned to one MP and the effort is made to continue this relationship once trained. Honor Defenders of Bastogne- Eisenhower arrives in France to address airborne division troops, Rhine Airborne Operations- Drop missiles in across the Rhine as well as concentration sites along the north, Nazi installations are burned out, and airborne divisions are dropped to make connection with ground troops.

Activities in European Theater of Operations- British design 22,000 lb. bombs, the largest in existence, bombs initially used to attack aqueducts, and fins on bomb cause it to spin which adds to accuracy. Viaducts. In Oslo, Norway troops arrive from England to combat a quarter million German troops. General Eisenhower in Paris- arrives before returning to US on June 14th, Gen. DeGaull decorates Eisenhower with the Cross of Liberation, the greatest honor given by the French. LVT's for Beachhead Operations- Seagoing maintenance arrive to work on disabled vehicles. Wire-Laying by Plane- replaces where ground wire-laying is too difficult, smoke signals mark beginning and end of wire-laying, chains drop with wire to the ground, laud at one mile every 30 seconds and can lay up to 16 miles in one run. Activities of 6th Army Group- American transports carry troops to China to assist in new drive, Chinese soldiers driven to front by American vehicles. Some camps are evacuated and supplies are removed to be saved. Service Schools in the Pacific- Troops attend parachute jump school and utilize a jump tower to assist in parachute use practice, also use mock planes, then students move to training installations with actual planes. Transportation Difficulties in Okinawa- Road conditions slow transport of personnel and supplies after a week of rain, vehicles must be abandoned that slide off roads. Bulldozers are used to pull trucks while some become stalled on the side of the road. Roads become impassable at points. F7F Tigercat- New twin engine fire bomber, 425 mile per hour class plane, can carry rockets and full size bombs. Used to clean up enemy strong points.

In Italy, general staff briefs troops of coming invasion of Southern France, stressing the 15th Air Force's activity. Prefaces pattern of pre-invasion air attacks against beaches at Avignon, Toulon, and Isle of Levant. Airborne troops en route to dropping zones. Paratroop and glider landings behind enemy lines. Naval bombardment and construction of airfields. Junction of airborne and seaborne troops. Air attacks against Toulon and Livron on August 16th. Enemy caught generally unprepared and French civilians mobilized to help troops.

Channel Coast Activities- Coastal command air forces attack naval German supply carriers. Fighter bombers strike ground targets and thousands of tons of bombs are dropped along Nazi strongholds at the port. Ordnance Repairs- At a collection post mechanics repair damaged vehicles, tanks are ready for combat when they leave the station. German Frontier Operations- 7th Army infantry spearheads drive to southwestern Germany. Engineer units help to assure sage and rapid passage for troops. Ammo is held high and dry as infantry men cross the river. Trucks forge river to carry troops and advance continues. Winter necessary supplies are flown into flying areas to prepare for upcoming weather. Firebombs are introduced setting fire to German forts. On First Army Front German civilians come out of hiding after a week of house to house searches. First Army continues advance. Additional Film Airborne Operations- Supplies are reinforcements are flown to Holland following initial landings of first allied airborne army. Bridges and northern anchor are secured. Heavy concentration of enemy fire brings loses. Flight air reinforces are brought in to widen support against fierce enemy opposition. Toulon Harbor Installations- Inspection made of harbor area after many installations were destroyed. Invasion of Palau Islands- Islands are bombed to neutralize enemy offensive power prior to amphibious invasion. Torpedo air crafts join attacks as well as some surface vessels of Third fleet. Jap garrison is holding out on island, command post and communication post are quickly set up and ground troops move swiftly against resistance.

Indians at Pawnee Bill's "Old Town" (May 3, 1931) shows a woman translating a song into Native American sign language. The footage then pans to an unidentified gathering of Native Americans and news people, in what looks like a press conference. There is then a parade of men in fedoras and suits. Footage of some abandoned cars and hundreds and hundreds of people, many wrapped in blankets in a field/hills with what looks like soldiers amongst them; no identification provided.
