To the Worshipful Master, Wardens and Brethern
Of Oklahoma City Lodge No. 36, A. F. & A. M.,
And its Masonic Posterity of the Year, 2013.

GREETINGS: -
Oklahoma City Lodge, No. 36 A. F. & A. M., a Constituent of Lodge of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge, Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons of the State of Oklahoma, its Officers and Seven Hundred Members, wish to extend out most cordial and fraternal greetings to Oklahoma City Lodge No. 36, A. F. & A. M. , its Officers and Members and its Masonic Posterity of the Year, 2013.

We sincerely hope that the Masonic Fraternity in this City and State and throughout the World will have made even greater progress in the coming Century than in the Century just past, and that by the time you good Brethern will read these lines, this great institution of which we are so justly proud, will have, through its hierographical and moral instruction and its most excellent tents, reached that degree of efficiency and perfection that its influence and power for the betterment and uplifting of mankind will still be second to that institution founded by the Supreme Architect of the Universe Himself.
The following, which is already history to us, is given for your information:

This Lodge was first Chartered as North Canadian Lodge No. 36, Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons, November 6th, 1889, by the Worshipful Grand Lodge, Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons of Indian Territory. On the 10th day of November, 1892, our Charter was reissued as Oklahoma Lodge No. 3, Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons, by the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge, Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons of Oklahoma Territory. And finally, on February 11th, 1909, which was after Indian Territory and Oklahoma Territory were made one State and at the time of consolidation of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge, Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons of Indian Territory and the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge, Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons of Oklahoma Territory, under the name of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge, Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons of the State of Oklahoma, our Charter was again reissued; this time as Oklahoma City Lodge No. 36, Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons, which name and number it now bears.

We are now enclosing herewith the Murrow Masonic Monitor which was adopted by our Grand Lodge at its Third Annual Communication, held February 8th and 9th, A. D. 1911 A. L. 5911. You will also find enclosed in this package, the Oklahoma City Masonic Calendar and Directory for this year. And as a memento to your Worship Master for 2013, a souvenir of the Dedication of our Masonic Temple.

May you never forget nor fail to realize the great debt of gratitude that we all owe to the fathers and founders of this glorious institution. They labored and toiled that this great fraternity might safely live through its infancy to prosper and grow to a strong and powerful instrumentality for good and that its potent influences for the dissemination of brotherly love, relief and truth, might be felt throughout the civilized world.

The members of this lodge of the year 1913, sincerely hope that they have in some small degree at least, by their industry and their unselfish devotion to duty, contributed so much to the upbuilding of the Free Masonry and this lodge, that its future members may more fully enjoy the beneficent influences of the brotherly love and affection of which this universal fraternity has such a bountiful and unlimited supply to bestow upon its members.
It is our most earnest desire and fervent hope that Oklahoma City Lodge No. 36 and its Masonic progeny, will be at the time these lines are read, enjoying the full fruition of the benefits, rights and privileges of this, the greatest and oldest of all fraternities, and that the year 2013 will be the most successful and harmonious that this lodge, which is now the largest in this jurisdiction, has yet experiences.

Most cordially and fraternally yours,

Oklahoma City Lodge No. 36, A. F. & A. M.,
