Gourd-Stitch Beadwork class, Oklahoma History Center

On Saturday, November 19, from 10 am to 3 pm, the Oklahoma History Center will host a Gourd-Stitch Beadwork class. Participants will learn the beadwork stitch called gourd stitch from Caddo teacher Yonavea Hawkins. Students will learn the basics of the stich, explore the museum’s beadwork examples, and enjoy lunch. The class is intended for individuals ages 15 and older.
