Will Rogers Days parade, Claremore

The Will Rogers Days finale will be the November 6 parade down Will Rogers Boulevard, the street in Claremore named for Rogers in 1948. The Palomino Horse Breeders Heritage Foundation, with Todd Branson riding a palomino, will lead the Sunday afternoon parade, which begins at 2 pm. Comanche, one of Will’s favorite mounts, was a palomino. Branson and members of the Indian Women’s Pocahontas Club will place a wreath at the tomb of Will Rogers prior to the parade.
