Honey Springs Battlefield Visitor Center Building Dedication
RENTIESVILLE, Okla. — The Friends of Honey Springs Battlefield and the Oklahoma Historical Society (OHS) will be hosting an open house at the Honey Springs Battlefield Visitor Center on Thursday, September 15, from 3 to 8 p.m. “Zenith Construction of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, has completed their construction contract and construction of the exhibits will be underway shortly,” said Kathy Dickson, director of museums and historic sites for the OHS. The press is invited to talk to key national, statewide and local partners for the project at 10:15 a.m. on the morning of the open house.
