Learn to Crochet Flowers in Oklahoma History Center Workshop

OKLAHOMA CITY — An upcoming workshop at the Oklahoma History Center will teach students how to crochet flowers. “Crochet a Little: Flowers for Valentine’s” is on Saturday, February 10, from 1-3 p.m. It is meant for beginners with a basic knowledge of crochet stitches. Tutorial videos will be sent out ahead of time to enrollees.

Tickets can be purchased online and are $30 for members of the Oklahoma Historical Society and $35 for nonmembers. Couples can buy two tickets for a special price of $50. The registration deadline is Saturday, February 3.

The instructor is Avril Martin. Martin said she sees this medium as a way to connect people. Martin also writes poetry, paints, and does film photography.
