The Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center brings back its annual Fall Lecture Series with a new theme, Legacy of the Oklahoma Cherokee Strip.

Lectures will be held at 7 p.m. on the Enid Campus of Northern Oklahoma College in the Gantz Center. As always, the lecture series is free and open to the public. This year the lecture series will feature four Oklahoma scholars, each speaking on the area of their expertise. Each lecture will be 45 minutes long followed by a time of questions and answers.

Nov. 4 – The Legacy of Determination, Deprivation and Resilience Dr. Kenny Brown, Professor of History, University of Central Oklahoma, will speak on pioneers who settled the Cherokee Strip and their resolve.
