Spring Break Activities at the Will Rogers Memorial Museum and Birthplace Ranch

CLAREMORE, Okla. — The Will Rogers Memorial Museum and Birthplace Ranch will host special Spring Break activities for children ages 5 to 17 and under March 18 to 22 from 1 to 3 p.m. Activities will be held at the museum on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and at the ranch on Tuesday and Thursday. Events include a behind-the-scenes tour of the museum, a look at Will’s life as a child, movie poster making, writing like Will and baseball at the Birthplace Ranch.

Admission is free thanks to a donation from Win and Kay Ingersoll. The Will Rogers Memorial Museum is located at 1720 W. Will Rogers Blvd. in Claremore. The Will Rogers Birthplace Ranch is located at 9501 E. 380 Road in Oologah.

The Will Rogers Memorial Museum and the Will Rogers Birthplace Ranch are divisions of the Oklahoma Historical Society. The mission of the Oklahoma Historical Society is to collect, preserve and share the history and culture of the state of Oklahoma and its people. Founded in 1893 by members of the Territorial Press Association, the OHS maintains museums, historic sites and affiliates across the state.
