State Historic Preservation Office to Teach About Historic Preservation Tax Incentives in Webinar

OKLAHOMA CITY — On Wednesday, December 14, the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) will hold a free webinar at 10 a.m. to teach about the Historic Preservation Tax Incentives program.

Participants will learn about the federal and state investment tax credits for certified rehabilitation of a certified historic structure. A detailed discussion of the application process will guide owners and developers in successfully preparing the information needed for the SHPO to review the project and for the National Park Service to certify it.

This session is designed as a stand-alone workshop or as a companion to the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards and Guidelines for Rehabilitating Historic Buildings.

Registration for the webinar is required.

For more information contact Lynda Ozan, deputy state historic preservation officer, at 405-522-4484 or lynda.ozan@history.ok.gov.
