KINGFISHER, Okla. — Join the Chisholm Trail Museum and the A. J. Seay Mansion for the Village Auction and Chili Cook-Off on Friday, November 17, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. A delicious dinner of chili, cornbread, beans and other cowboy favorites will be served buffet style before the beginning of the annual village auction fundraiser and "State of the Museum" address.

Tickets are $6 at the door for the dinner. Reservations can be made in advance, but payment will only be accepted at the door.

While visiting the museum, be sure to see “Endangered and Historic Places of Oklahoma,” a traveling exhibit that will be on display at the Chisholm Trail Museum from November 15 through December 1. This exhibit showcases important historical places in Oklahoma and explains why preservation is important. The A. J. Seay Mansion on the museum grounds is an example of the importance of preservation.
