“Hooray for Hollywood” Kilgen Organ performance featuring Rob Richards *Postponed*

The Oklahoma History Center is pleased to announce a Kilgen Organ series performance featuring Rob Richards. The theme will be “Hooray for Hollywood” and the performance will feature tunes heard in movies and plays. This performance will be Monday, April 20, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for Oklahoma Historical Society members and $20 for nonmembers, and may be reserved by calling 405-522-0765. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Rob Richards has achieved worldwide recognition as a concert and recording artist, and is currently the house organist at Disney’s historic El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, where he has performed more than 4,000 shows since 1999. There Richards plays a tribute to Disney and the countless Disney songs that have been enjoyed for decades. “It’s just me, the audience, the organ and the Disney melodies that we all love,” said Richards. Highlights of his career include playing at the 40th anniversary Mary Poppins Repremiere with Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke, making an appearance with famed pianist Liberace, and performing seven international concert tours.
