On Friday, October 28, and Saturday, October 29, 2022, from 10 a.m. to noon and again from 1 to 3 p.m.,  this late October living history program will be focused on the mess hall of Fort Gibson. Learn the types of foods available at the post during the 19th century. Kitchen staff will be stoking the kitchen fires and cooking delicious recipes from pork, potatoes, dried fruits and vegetables, and making coffee.
