KennethKay Attocknie

KennethKay Attocknie was born at the Stanford University Medical Center in 1972. He graduated from Carnegie High School in 1990 having been a member of the 1988 Carnegie HS State Champion Basketball team, earned his engineering degree from Stanford in 1996 and began his NASA career at Space Camp, putting together space shuttle simulators and bunk beds. He joined Houston's Mission Control Center as an engineer for the International Space Station THOR/thermal systems. Affected by the Columbia disaster, he joined Quality Control and is now a liason with the consulting astronauts. KK is a member of the Caddo Tribe, married Jessica Regina Madrigal in 2008, and they live in League City with their son, Regi, who is one.
