Membership Rates Effective January 1, 2020
After careful consideration, the OHS Board of Directors has decided to restructure our membership benefits and rates beginning January 1, 2020. These changes will allow us to continue providing our members with benefits that are both sustainable and meaningful. We compared our membership rates with those of similar organizations and decided that it was time to update our prices, which had not been increased in more than a decade. This will ensure that the OHS can continue to provide the quality exhibits, programming, and collections care that our members and the public expect from the state's flagship historical institution.
We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we work to maintain the standard of collecting, preserving, and sharing Oklahoma's rich history that you have come to know.
OHS Membership Benefits
All OHS members receive:
- Free admission to all OHS museums and historic sites
- One-year subscription to The Chronicles of Oklahoma, Mistletoe Leaves, and OHS EXTRA!
- Early registration for select OHS events
- Discounts on select OHS programs and events
- 15 percent discount in OHC Museum Store and the Research Center
- Voting privileges for OHS board elections and changes to the constitution
- Smithsonian Affiliate Membership ($20 additional for Student, Basic, and Family Memberships)

Smithsonian Affiliate Membership
This benefit is included in memberships $100 and above. Student, Basic, and Family members may add this to their membership for an additional $20. Smithsonian level members enjoy an annual Smithsonian membership, which includes:
- One-year subscription to Smithsonian magazine (11 issues) or Air & Space magazine (seven issues)
- Free admission to the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum in New York City
- 10 percent discount on café dining at Smithsonian museums in Washington, DC
- 10 percent discount on all Smithsonian Folkways Recordings
- 10 percent discount on all IMAX tickets at the Smithsonian
- Reciprocal admission/discount benefits at participating Smithsonian Affiliates
