Living History Days at Chisholm Trail Museum

KINGFISHER, Okla. — The Chisholm Trail Museum in Kingfisher, Okla., will host Living History Days on Friday, April 20, and Saturday, April 21. This lively annual event features some of the best Western reenactors the country has to offer. Chuck wagons provide cowboy dinner favorites such as chili and biscuits. While waiting for a fresh-cooked meal, visitors can take in the sights and sounds of a pioneer village by watching the flint knapper, magician, gunfighters and farm animals.

The Chisholm Trail Museum is located at 605 Zellers Ave. in Kingfisher, Okla. Hours of operation are Tuesday–Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors over 60, $3 for students and military and kids under 5 years old are free.

The Chisholm Trail Museum is an affiliate of the Oklahoma Historical Society. The mission of the Oklahoma Historical Society is to collect, preserve and share the history and culture of the state of Oklahoma and its people.
