“Winter on the Farm” living history program ends

Learn about 19th-century living patterns at Hunter’s Home working farm from Saturday, November 30 to Friday, December 13, as staff prepare the farm for the coming winter season. See the operations of the historic house and farm through the activities, chores, and the care of animals at Hunter’s Home, the only remaining pre–Civil War Cherokee plantation home in Oklahoma.
Visitors can experience living history interpreters demonstrating nineteenth-century trades, chores, cooking, gardening, and crafts.
No reservations are needed, but regular admission fees apply. For more information, call 918-456-2751.
