The Oklahoma Historical Society is pleased to announce the Antique Agriculture Teachers Institute set for July 12–14, 2017, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. The Antique Agriculture Teachers Institute will explore agricultural history and preservation of heritage skills and techniques. Conference participants will learn about plantation agriculture in the mid-nineteenth century in Indian Territory, including horticulture, animal husbandry, food preservation and preparation, and plant uses.
