The Chisholm Trail Museum will hold two of its popular beginner barn quilt workshops on Friday, June 7, and Saturday, June 8, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Participants only need to attend one class. Barn quilts are square-shaped boards painted to resemble a quilt block and then put on buildings. They have evolved into a rural development initiative to boost tourism in communities. Boots, Beer, and BBQ Fundraiser

The Chisholm will hold its annual gala event on September 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. Boots, Beer, and Barbeque will feature live music by the Red Dirt Rangers, BBQ and sides prepared by a working chuck wagon, drinks from an Oklahoma brewery, dancing and more on the lawn.
