“Dirt Tells the Story of Our History” Talk Planned at Pioneer Woman Museum

PONCA CITY, Okla. — The Pioneer Woman Museum and Statue will host Christina Rich-Splawn for an event on Saturday, April 27, from 3-4 p.m. titled “Dirt Tells the Story of Our History.”

Rich-Splawn will talk about her passion for archaeology and history. She will also display some artifacts and discuss archaeological digs that she has attended. There will also be a discussion about the importance of maintaining, interpreting and honoring our prehistoric and historic sites. The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

The Pioneer Woman Museum and Statue is a division of the Oklahoma Historical Society.
