Oklahoma History Center to Host Roundtable Discussion on History and Evolution of Food in Oklahoma
OKLAHOMA CITY — On Wednesday, May 8, from 6-9 p.m., the Oklahoma History Center, in collaboration with the Bigger Than Food Foundation, will host a roundtable discussion on the history and evolution of the food industry and restaurants. This roundtable will feature historians and current restaurant owners from the Oklahoma City metro.
The discussion will take place in the Chesapeake Event Center from 6-8 p.m., followed by a networking hour from 8-9 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. This is a pay-what-you-can event, with a suggested donation of $5 per person. Attendees are required to register in advance as space is limited.
The Oklahoma History Center Museum is located at 800 Nazih Zuhdi Dr. in Oklahoma City. It is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Please call 405-522-0765 or visit www.okhistory.org/historycenter for admission costs and group rates.
