Drummond Home to Host Ice Cream Social
HOMINY, Okla. — The Fred and Addie Drummond Home will host its annual ice cream social on Saturday, September 7, from 1-4 p.m. at the historic home in Hominy.
Special guests will include author Roseanne McKee, who will sign copies of her books “The Arabella Effect” and “Oklahoma Roses.” Osage storyteller Diane Fallis will also join the festivities. After visitors tour the late Victorian-style three-story historic home built in 1905, they can enjoy the shade and a cooling cup of ice cream on the front porch. The ice cream social is family-friendly and is included with paid admission.
The Fred and Addie Drummond Home is located at 305 N. Price Ave. in Hominy. It is open Wednesday through Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday from 1-5 p.m. Call 918-352-5583 for more information.
The Fred and Addie Drummond Home is a division of the Oklahoma Historical Society. The mission of the Oklahoma Historical Society is to collect, preserve and share the history and culture of the state of Oklahoma and its people.
