Learn About Public Land and Ranching in Oklahoma During Lecture at Oklahoma Territorial Museum
GUTHRIE, Okla. — On Wednesday, May 20, at 7 p.m., the Oklahoma Territorial Museum and Carnegie Library will host a lecture with Haley Evans on the history of public lands and ranching. The lecture will also highlight the conflict between stockmen, the United States Forest Service and the National Park Service.
Evans is currently working on her master’s degree in the public history program at Oklahoma State University. She received her undergraduate degree in general history with a minor in religious studies from Colorado State University.
The cost is $5 per person, and no registration is required.

The Oklahoma Territorial Museum and Carnegie Library is a division of the Oklahoma Historical Society.
