Honey Springs Battlefield is excited to announce its Civil War Christmas event on Saturday, December 10, from 1 to 3 p.m. The event will be steeped in the history of Christmases past and fun for adults and children alike. Children are encouraged to bring their wish lists to the newly expanded Honey Springs Battlefield Visitor Center, where they can see the new exhibits and take photographs with Santa. Civil War reenactors dressed in period attire will add to the festive event, along with crafts and refreshments. The program is free to the public, but donations are welcome.
