On Saturday, January 17, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., bring the whole family to the Oklahoma History Center for a fun, hands-on day celebrating the world of pageants.
For this community craft day, kids and adults can decorate their own sashes or paper and cardboard tiaras, take memorable photos in a themed photo booth with a ring light and phone holder, and explore newly installed artifacts in the exhibition.
As part of the activities, families can also choose a community platform to support, learning about causes and ideas that matter while engaging creatively with the pageant experience. This interactive event is perfect for families seeking a playful, educational, and inspiring outing where imagination, history, and community converge in one exciting experience.
This event is happening in conjunction with the Beyond the Sash: Reflections on Oklahoma Pageants exhibit. The craft day is free with the cost of admission to the History Center.
