Join the Oklahoma Territorial Museum and Carnegie Library for an Earth Day celebration on Saturday, April 25!

The museum will be passing out turnip seeds to students (6–18 years of age) visiting the museum as supplies last and explaining the importance of turnips to settlers during the Land Run of 1889.

PhD student Katelyn Cooke will give a presentation at 1 p.m. on her research on geoarchaeology and early farmers in Oklahoma History, focusing on human-environmental interactions.

All Earth Day activities are free with admission.
