The Oklahoma Territorial Museum director, Michael Williams, will host a conversation with author Mark Svenvold on his book, Elmer McCurdy: The Misadventures in Life and Afterlife of an American Outlaw (Basic Books, 2002). The book is a biography of a “uniquely inept train robber whose mummified corpse achieved far more fame, travel, and notoriety after his death than he ever did while alive.”
