Family Farm Day will be held at the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center (CSRHC) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 3.

This year’s Family Farm Day at CSRHC is showcasing the “agri-CULTURE” of Northwest Oklahoma and will feature special programming by the various immigrant communities of Northwest Oklahoma. Learn how different grains and products were grown and utilized by the diverse cultures that immigrated to the region.

As always, enjoy pumpkin painting, pony rides, vintage tractors, live music, and more! Be sure to bring your sweet tooth and wallet to participate in the silent bake auction full of locally made goodies.

• Okie Dokie Dogs of Enid will have their German Bratwurst along with their usual fare for sale at the event.
• Sidwell Distribution and the Garfield County Hispanic Coalition are doing programs on masa and tamales.
• The Kaw Nation will be demonstrating the making of fry bread with bison and corn soup.
• There will be noodle and hominy making demos.
• Leonardo’s Children’s Museum and the Oklahoma Micronesian Coalition will also be conducting programs.
• Pony rides and a petting zoo will be available, along with many other activities and vintage games.
• We will have caramel apples for a $1 and free popcorn.
