This presentation is part of SHPO’s 2023 Archaeology multipart webinar Hidden Oklahoma: How Archaeology Reveals Secrets From our Past.

Dr. Leland Bement
Research Archaeologist and Adjunct Associate Professor, University of Oklahoma
Bement specializes in Paleoindian studies, animal bone identification, hunter-gatherer adaptations, rock art, stone tool technologies and paleoenvironmental reconstruction. His research projects are numerous and include the Cooper and Jake Bluff bison kill sites.
