Step back in time and experience life in the Cherokee Outlet during History Alive! on the Cherokee Strip, a living history program stationed at the Garfield County Courthouse on September 19 for the Cherokee Strip Parade and Celebration.

Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center staff and volunteers will take the History Alive! program onto the courthouse lawn to demonstrate and represent the history of northwest Oklahoma as the City of Enid celebrates the town’s 1893 founding with firetrucks, floats, cars, marching bands, and traditional Longhorn steers.
