“Ice Cream Social” Kilgen Organ Performance by David Marsh
April 24, 7 p.m.–8:30 p.m.
On Monday, April 24, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., the Oklahoma History Center is pleased to announce the Spring performance of the Kilgen Theater Organ with the theme “Ice Cream Social.” Keeping with the theme, ice cream will be served prior to the performance, so early arrival is advised.
The evening concert will feature seasonal melodies by organist David Marsh—a rising star in the theater organ world. Tickets are $10 for Oklahoma Historical Society members and $20 for nonmembers and may be reserved by clicking the link to the store below. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Marsh always had an interest in theatre organs and started playing them when he was 14 years old. Professionally, he has also enjoyed a career in music education, including teaching Advanced Music Theory at Villa Park High School in Orange County California, and has been a piano teacher since 2016. Marsh has also served as the Director of Operations for Soli Studios Music, Inc. and Executive Assistant for the Los Angeles Organ Company. He also currently serves as the President of the Orange County Theatre Organ Society, which maintains the 4/37 Wurlitzer at Plummer Auditorium in Fullerton, California.
