Join us for History Alive! on the Cherokee Strip on Saturday, July 19, for a special Make and Take carpentry workshop!

History Alive! on the Cherokee Strip is a come-and-go, hands-on living history experience from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., during which interpreters in period clothing not only tell you about life in the late nineteenth century but also SHOW you! Participants will learn how to build their own small bench, and even take it home when it’s finished!

Everything you’ll need to complete your carpentry project will be provided and included in our regular admission price, but supplies are limited, so it will be a first-come, first-served workshop while supplies last!
