November 7, 2025

Event Navigation

On Friday, November 7, starting at 7 p.m., the Village Sounds event at the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center will include performances by Riley Jantzen (former frontman of the band Mayola), Caleb Denison (formerly of Never Shout Never), and Jesse LaFave & Rachel Reese. Jesse is the nephew of American singer-songwriter and folk musician Jimmy LaFave.

The Heritage Center will close briefly at its regular time of 5 p.m. to prepare for the event. The doors will reopen at 5:30 p.m. to allow visitors to explore the new exhibit, The Rhapsody Project, which showcases individuals and groups from northwest Oklahoma who have made significant contributions to the national and/or global music industry.

The event will begin at 7 p.m. on the Heritage Center Plaza, weather permitting. Guests are encouraged to bring their own seating, snacks, and family-friendly beverages. No alcohol, please. Free popcorn will be available.

This event will be offered to the public free of charge!
