On Tuesday, November 10, at 10 a.m. (Central Time), the State Historic Preservation Office (OKSHPO) will host a free webinar to provide an overview of Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA).

This training is intended to provide an introduction or refresher to Section 106 of the NHPA. The OKSHPO strives to convey the importance of the Section 106 process and to assist those who may be involved in Oklahoma.

This presentation with Kristina Wyckoff will include a basic overview of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), Section 106 of the NHPA, the current status of NHPA and Section 106, and the governing regulations. The webinar will last 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Kristina Wyckoff is the Section 106 Coordinator and Historical Archaeologist at the State Historic Preservation Office.
